Originally from Lesotho, Arabang is an emerging Contemporary artist based in Daveyton, Gauteng, South Africa. Despite lacking formal training in painting, she has established herself as a self-taught artist, diving into the professional art scene in April 2017.
Arabang's artistic journey began in her early years, as she poured her creativity into drawing sketches and fashion design. She works with a diverse range of media, including painting, mixed media art made from recycled materials, and personalized clothing featuring portraits of individuals or their favorite celebrities. Acrylics, oil painting, and charcoal are her preferred mediums.
Driven by a passion for storytelling, Arabang infuses each of her artworks with a unique narrative, drawing inspiration from nature and human emotions.
