Inspired by the resilience of female waste pickers, this ceramic vessel transforms their strength and determination into art. The form, reflecting the seemingly flawed yet whole nature of these women’s experiences, portrays a female figure carrying a recycled bag on her back. Crafted with underglaze painting, a smooth, shiny glaze, and sculptural details enhanced with oxide and transparent glaze, the piece celebrates the beauty, grit, and perseverance of women in challenging circumstances.
